I shoot commercial and branded content for businesses across Canada. An Affiliate member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers, my recent work includes campaigns for M&M Food Market, Chatime, and Dairy Farmers Ontario.
Before starting to work behind the camera, I was in front of one. As principal cast on commercials in Mumbai around the time I was finishing my undergrad. That experience is what pulled me toward filmmaking. I started out as a self-taught videographer, taking briefs from script to screen for small brands and businesses. A few years running my own videography business taught me the foundational skills of the essential departments needed in the production pipeline. I then went back to school to learn how to turn a videography to cinematography and graduated as valedictorian from George Brown College's Video Design and Production program.
After graduating I dove head first into the industry and started working on short and long-format narrative projects, commercials, and branded content. Across those projects I have worked as a producer, cinematographer, camera and lighting technician and editor. Every department I worked in fed directly back into how I approach my own productions. That pipeline experience is my USP since I came up through the whole machine and not just one department. I understand what a director needs during production, what an editor needs in post and how a producer thinks when managing the budget. Working with me translates to faster decisions and leaner crew without sacrificing on image quality.
